Business Litigation

The Business Litigation Practice Group of Spragins, Barnett & Cobb has a staff of attorneys assisted by highly trained support personnel and paralegals. We represent clients in all state and federal trial courts and appellate courts that have jurisdiction over lawsuits brought in Tennessee, as well as in arbitration, mediation and other methods of alternative dispute resolution. We practice at all levels, from presentations to arbitrators to complex jury trials. Drawing on expertise throughout the firm, in such areas as banking, commercial transactions, business, real estate and estate administration, a team approach is brought to complex commercial and estate, contract litigation. The Senior Attorney in our Litigation Practice Group is a Civil Trial Specialist certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a Tennessee Supreme Court accredited agency. He has also been given Martindale-Hubbell's highest peer review rating of AV and has been deemed, by peer review process, a "Super Lawyer of the Mid-South". Two members of the team are Listed Rule 31 mediators listed by the Tennessee Supreme Court.
