Mr.
Charles Holliday is an associate in the
firm’s litigation group. His practice
concentrates in criminal defense, general civil
litigation, products liability, civil rights,
and consumer law.
Mr. Holliday was
born in New Hampshire but grew up all over the
country while his father served in the Air
Force. He graduated from Ithaca College in
Ithaca, New York with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Journalism. Mr. Holliday moved to Memphis in
1999 and earned his Master’s Degree in
Journalism from The University of Memphis in
2001. After graduating, Mr. Holliday spent two
years working before entering law school at The
University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School
of Law, from which he graduated in 2006.
While in
law school Mr. Holliday was a member of The
University of Memphis Law Review, Moot Court
Board, Phi Alpha Delta, and he was elected
president of the Student Bar Association. Mr.
Holliday also served as a research assistant for
Professor Irma Russell and as a Pupil in the Leo
Bearman Sr. American Inn of Court.
Mr.
Holliday is admitted to practice before the
Tennessee Supreme Court, all trial courts, and
the United States District Court for the Western
District of Tennessee. He is a member of the
Jackson-Madison County Bar Association, the
Tennessee Bar Association, the American Bar
Association, and the Tennessee Association of
Criminal Defense Lawyers.
