Nancy L. Choate joining Spragins, Barnett & Cobb, PLC

We are pleased to announce that effective October 1, 2021, Nancy L. Choate of the Law Office of Nancy L. Choate, P.C. has joined the law firm of Spragins, Barnett & Cobb, PLC (SBC). This move will allow Nancy to better serve her clients and strengthen the services provided by SBC.

Nancy Choate decided to join SBC because joining the larger firm of SBC will allow her to provide a wider array of services and more depth and bring her specialized knowledge in estate planning, probate, trusts and elder law to SBC. Nancy obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1987. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, (Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Probate sections), National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), Academy of Special Needs Planners (ASNP) and the Madison County Bar Association. Nancy has received a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating of AV Preeminent from her fellow lawyers. She has owned and operated the Law Office of Nancy L. Choate, P.C. since 1991.

SBC and Nancy Choate share the same values. Our estate planning, probate, and elder law practices and firm cultures are very similar. This is an exciting merger for both Nancy and SBC. With the addition of Nancy and her many years of practice in these areas, we will be to offer clients additional services and areas of expertise such as banking and business transactions, creditor rights and bankruptcy, employment law, real estate, general litigation, family law, and criminal defense.

Nancy has moved to SBC’s offices at 312 East Lafayette, Jackson, TN 38301 as of October 1, 2021. Nancy’s existing phone number (731-661-0665) will continue to be operational, or she can be reached as SBC’s main number, (731) 424-0461. Nancy’s existing email, [email protected], will continue to work but will eventually change to [email protected].
