Biography

Christine Farley Randell is an experienced family law and civil litigation attorney who joined Spragins, Barnett & Cobb in 2026. With over twenty-five years of legal experience, she is known for her compassionate yet effective advocacy in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, paternity, and post-judgment matters such as enforcement and modification of existing orders.

Christine earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Connecticut at Storrs in 1992 and her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts in 1995. During law school, she completed four internships, including positions with the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office, Connecticut Legal Services, and the Rhode Island Public Defender’s Office.

She began her legal career in Rhode Island, practicing special education advocacy and family law with a solo practitioner until 2005, when she joined Coia & Lepore, LLC in Providence, Rhode Island. After relocating to Florida, Christine began working at Seagull Industries for the Disabled, Inc., where she eventually was appointed to serve as Director of Education at Seagull Ascademy for Independent Living, a charter high school for intellectually disabled students. There, she helped expand the charter school to include services for middle school students and developed a supported employment program. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2012 and joined the Law Offices of Doreen B. Halickman as an associate in 2013. In 2018, she became a partner in Halickman & Farley, LLC, a boutique family law firm in Palm Beach Gardens. She also served as a certified family court mediator in Palm Beach County.

Christine has continued to pursue her passion for education throughout her career. She completed the Educator Preparation Program at Palm Beach State College in 2010 and later also earned special education certification in Tennessee. In 2023 and 2024, she taught middle and high school special education students in the Jackson-Madison County School System. This combination of legal and educational experience gives her a rare, deeply informed perspective in family law cases involving children with special needs.

Committed to community service, Christine has volunteered with Calvary Church in Jupiter Farms, Florida, and Renewal Coalition, a charitable organization supporting young veterans in Palm Beach County, Florida,. She has also served on the boards of the Exchangettes of the Palm Beaches, a philanthropic organization, as well as the Gardens School of Technology Arts. Locally, she also volunteered at Redemption Road Rescue, a horse rescue in Jackson, Tennessee.

As a divorced mother of two and adoptive mother of one, Christine brings personal insight and genuine empathy to her practice. She strives to communicate with clients in a clear, honest, and wise manner, helping them to navigate emotionally difficult family transitions with confidence, support and understanding.

Christine is licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Florida. She and her husband live on their family farm in Cedar Grove, Tennessee, with their dogs and horses.
